Navy is heavier weight navy fabric make this a clutch piece for fall and winter. Hot pink stitching on the sleeves adds a pretty but simple detail.
Sunset is made of rust neoprene, so it has a bit of stretch. The sleeves are a gorgeous rose organza that is transparent and has a bit of sheen. Such a pretty color combo.
Mermaid is made of dark aqua neoprene, so it has a bit of stretch. The sleeves are a gorgeous sea foam green organza that is transparent and has a bit of sheen (like a mermaid?!)

This dress broke my ban on puffy sleeves. As a 40 year old woman I worried puff sleeves weren't for me but this dress proved me wrong! Love it with black tights and boots or over slim fit pants. I received so many compliments the day I wore it to work.
This isn't just my new favorite dress, it may just be my favorite dress ever! There's so much to love: from the extravagant sleeves with the hot pink detailing to the perfect A-line cut to the sturdy yet soft cloth, this item is obviously made with skill and love. Bonus points that it can pass for dressy or casual and is comfortable to boot. I was a bit nervous because I have such broad shoulders and a large chest, but Carly's thoughtful design actually slims my top and made me feel less self-conscious than usual, despite the *puff* sleeves. I'm currently wearing with my black knee-high boots and tights this winter but can't wait to pair with my gold sandals this summer.
I love everything about this dress. It's the perfect mix of dramatic and wearable. Muted but with a little flair. Just a hit of pink... You really can dress it up or down. I've layered it over a button down, added a belt, worn it with heels and flats, and I'm sure I'll be wearing it with a sweater and boots this winter. I have a slender build so the fit is pretty roomy but everything falls and drapes just right so I don't feel like I'm wearing a sack. The weighty fabric has a luxurious feel and the quality is on par with much more expensive designer dresses. What a dream to find something like this from a local maker! Classic piece!
